Becoming a Quincy
Becoming a quincy is an easy task. When you first login, you will want to head north to the hospital and train your reiatsu/defense until your reiatsu power is 500+. Alternate on reiatsu and defense training as these are the primary quincy stats. Once your reiatsu power is above 500, you want to head to the elevator in the hospital, double click the elevator and go to Executive Floor. There, you will want to talk to Ishida Ryuken. Tell him you want to be a quincy. You will receive a sacred box and a quincy suit in your inventory. Congrats, you are now a quincy!!!
What's next?
Well, you can continue to train. If you go to the Basement floor there is a training area. You can also go to the bottom right of the basement and double click the bottom wall to get into the secret quincy training room. Once you reach level 65, that sacred box I told you about will open and you will have a Sanrei Glove. You should immediately equip this glove and shoot 100 arrows to master it. Once you have mastered it, you will have a stronger quincy bow with your mastered gloves. Your arrows will be stronger and you will shoot them faster.
Is that it?
No, there is more. At this point you have 2 options: 1. settle with that strong bow and carry on with the game. 2. Break your Sanrei Glove and gain immense power until you die or relog, and then have to do more training with the hopes of getting the strongest of bows. I personally would go for option 2, but just know that if you do this, you will only have a chance to get the strongest of bows. If you fail, you will be "crippled", meaning you will be stuck with the basic bow forever (until you remake your character basically). If you decide to break your glove and train, you will want to talk to Ishida Ryuken after you died (or relogged). He will ask if you want to train, you will say yes you want to train, and he will tell you to shoot 200 arrows. Once you have shot your 200 arrows, your fate will be decided: the strongest bow, or crippled until remake (50/50).
Good luck to you all in this final endeavor!
Quincy Techniques:
Hirenhyaku - Level 45 - Quincy flash step
Haizen - Level 55 - Rapidly shoots 3 rei-based projectiles at enemies
Gritz - Level 85 - Binds enemies with pillars to slow them down
Volcore - Level 100 - A projectile that freezes an enemy in one spot for a few seconds. You should follow this up with haizen or arrows.
Sprenger - Level 160 - The strongest move of quincies. It uses up the majority of your reiatsu to use this move. It gives you 5 ultra powered arrows that you can shoot at enemies.
Ransoutengai - Level 200 - This move allows you to revive yourself from the dead, preventing you from being killed. It gives you back half of your HP, a speed boost, and cloaks you in an aura. It drains your reiatsu and will last until either you get killed, or your reiatsu runs out (also resulting in death).
Haizen, Gritz, Volcore, and Sprenger all require Gintou. You can buy Gintou from the Quincy Receptionist NPC.
