Intro
Well, it has been far too long for us to go without a Human Guide, so here's the facts to clear any speculation. Any comments, suggestions or corrections can be posted as a reply to this thread. All grammar nazis will perish in Satan's abyssmal flames.
Getting Started
You just start off as a human. You suck, big time, yet there's this unreliquishable urge to continue staying human for god knows what. You've got 3 options. Choose the path of the Sado, the Inoue, or the badass and continue staying human. This guide does not cover the latter since it would be inexcusable for anyone to be informed of the great power untrained Humans acquire.
Firstly, you do not require the ability to see spirits in order to choose a human race, unlike most other races. You merely need to be lvl 20 and speak to Urahara at the shop located north-north-east of the original spawn point. Basically go south from the hospital, cross the bridge, swing around the right side of the houses and cross that bridge and keep walking until you pass the abandoned hospital and go north until you see buildings and go to the right to find Urahara's shop on the far east side of the map.
Sado Route
Forword
For this route, when given the option to train under Urahara upon speaking with him, you would choose "Power", allowing you the ability to learn skills associated with the character Sado "Chad" Yasutora from the Bleach anime/manga. Sado itself is meant to be race that can take fair amounts of damage due to its generous defense boost accompanied with the large HP cap granted from training Attack/Def, as is the norm with this race. They aren't particularly powerful but have an array of skills at their disposal, some more useful than others.

El Directo

1 space projectile

Inoue Route
Forword
The final option Urahara offers upon training would be "Reiatsu" training. This offers you the ability to learn skills associated with Inoue Orihime from the original Bleach anime/manga. Inoue tend to develop skills geared toward a defensive player, piquing the interest of the less aggressive. Their diet usually consists of Reiatsu/Defense if geared directly toward the power of their skills. There have been known to be more reckless builds such as Attack/Reiatsu that work fairly well assuming the player can accommodate for the lack of HP/def with better aim.
Initial Skills
Santen Kesshun (Shield)
Active Skill
Shield formed 1 tile in front of Inoue, blocking any incoming projectile save for Byakurai, Gamuza's Lanzador, Momo Byakurai or Koten Zanshun. Stays active even in movement.
Lvl 45
Hirenhyaku
Transportation Skill
As with Sado, Inoue also borrows their transportation skill from another race, namely Quincy. Hirenhyaku allows Inoue to transport a short distance with little cooldown and can be easily mastered in comparison to the aforementioned transportation mechanism.
Unmastered: 2 step teleport, 4 second Cooldown
1st Stage: 3 step teleport, 2.5 second cooldown
2nd Stage: 3 step teleport, 1.5 second cooldown
3rd Stage (Mastered): 4 step teleport, 1 second cooldown
Other Notes: Unlike Sonido, other skills are not disabled as a result of using this skill, thus, can be used instantaneously.
Lvl 80
Koten Zanshun
Active Skill
Deals 3x Reiatsu Power stat
Deals damage equal to the difference between maximum HP and current HP value
5 second cooldown
Piercing
Lvl 130
Soten Kisshun
Active Skill
14 charges healing for 10% of health per charge
35 second cooldown
Side Notes: This skill remains stationary upon activation, and only recuperates health in 2 second intervals while the player remains within its tile.
Passive ability
Normal attacks become mini koten zanshun at level 150
